Oral hygiene Treatment (Scale and Polish)
Oral hygiene involves a thorough clean and polish of your teeth. This involves removal of the plaque and tartar deposits between your teeth. Along with tooth brushing, flossing, mouthwashes and healthy eating, this can help to reduce the risk of gum disease and tooth decay.
Our dentists recommend regular 6 monthly hygiene appointments (or annual if your teeth are in very good shape) to the patients. Regular hygiene visits help improve gum health, fresher breath and a cleaner smile whereas poor oral hygiene can lead to bad breath, tooth decay and gum disease which if left untreated can lead to severe dental problems in future.
